These systems are different than the above methods because this method does not require the addition of chemicals to the pool, but rather requires the addition of a permanent pump in the pool. The primary function of this method is too recirculate water throughout the pool, while flushing out contaminants. One drawback of the filtration method is that they often require a constant electrical supply to the power unit. This may lead to a deep energy drawback, and would hurt your wallet during the summer. However, even with these drawbacks the pump system is one of most used because it is easy to control and maintain, even with the extra cost.
